The card being handed to guests at the hotel: laundry pickup plus food delivery (the card carries Al Baik, Al Romansiah and Zaidan logos). Checked against the family WhatsApp: this number has never been used there, no chat, no messages. Last year's chats do hold a “Noor” (+966 53 424 3441, active during the October 2025 stay), but on a different number, and another saved Saudi contact, “A” (+966 55 707 5184), is different again. Nothing connects the card to either of them beyond the common name.
A runner is a middleman: garments go to an unknown laundry, with a margin on top and no reviews to check. Fine for a test load; not where the good thobes and abayas go first.

★ 4.9 from 658 reviews, and only 3 one-star reviews in the whole set, the cleanest record near the Haram. In Ajyad, beside the Haram, open 24 hours. Reviewers praise the pressing (“clean and well pressed”), the folding, and hotel-lobby pickup and delivery with fast, clear WhatsApp replies.

One caveat: HL publishes per-kg laundry prices only, no per-piece dry-clean tariff. Confirm dry-clean-only or embellished items on WhatsApp before sending them.

★ 4.8 from 948 reviews, the largest base in the area, and it sits inside the Clock Tower itself, floor −1 on Ajyad Street, the same complex as the hotel. Praised for speed, WhatsApp communication and hotel pickup. The trade-off: 41 one-star reviews, and no published price list.
Makkah Laundry (Ajyad) · the dry-clean specialist
★ 4.8 from 272 reviews, and the only top-rated listing near the Haram categorised as a dry cleaner. Dry cleaning listed at SAR 35; wash packages 18 / 20 / 25 SAR per kg; normal return 12 hours, and reviewers report same-day stain removal (dropped 08:30, back before 14:00). Best fallback for dry-clean-only garments. A second listing under Jabal Omar (★ 4.8, 233) answers on +966 55 253 3990.
Al Jabr Laundry · the big name, not here
Saudi's famous national chain (since 1974) has only two Makkah branches, both well south of the Haram, rated ★ 3.6 (314 reviews) and ★ 2.7 (261), and it publishes no per-item prices. Brand aside, the local evidence is the weakest of the set. Not recommended for this stay.
And Raffles itself?
No published Raffles price list exists
Raffles Makkah Palace confirms an “Express laundry” service and nothing more; no tariff appears on its site, on Accor, or in guest sources, and no other Clock Towers hotel publishes one either. The in-room laundry list, via the Butler, is the only source.

SAR. Express there is a 4-hour return at +50%. A Clock Towers competitor estimates hotel thobe pressing at SAR 40–60 with 24–48 h turnaround; that figure is unverified. Either way, expect the hotel to cost several times the independents above.
